Coco Cabana Havanese Adoption Policies
If you are interested in one of our Havanese puppies, please fill out our contact form. We will set up a time to have you call. It is important for us to get to know prospective parents. We require a contract for each puppy purchase. The purpose of our contract is to keep the breed healthy and provide a loving home for each pup.
If you are purchasing a Pet/Companion, you will be required to spay or neuter. Pet/Companions are issued Limited AKC Registration. This means that while your pup is fully pedigreed, any offspring would not qualify for AKC registration.
We are very selective about breeding rights. These are issued to Show homes only and have certain conditions detailed in our Show Contract. Please inquire if you are interested in showing and /or breeding.
We ask for a 50% deposit along with a signed contract after we have selected your new baby. The balance must be paid in full before the pup leaves us. If you cannot pick up your pup, we can ship Air Cargo from Tampa, Florida . This costs approximately $250.00. Personal delivery may also be available.
All pups are examined buy our Veterinarian and found fit and ready for placement within 10 days of leaving us. You will be required to have your vet check the pup within 3 days of his arrival.
We guarantee the dog against any life threatening genetic diseases for the first two years. We have done everything possible to guarantee the eye lines of our dogs. The Sire and Dam have shown so far to be free of eye diseases on either side but we cannot be held responsible if something does develop later.
